EP O1 : 프롤로그As the space was imbued with the faint aroma of homecooked meals while shelves were filled with picture frames from her parents' first meeting to every milestone that they've come across with, the four corners of their home ceaselessly emanated a blazing sense of fondness and devotion.“애기들, 엄마 아빠는 이제 일하러 갈 거예요!” the little 윤채민 (Chaemin Yoon) and her younger brother sprints to greet their parents who were both wearing their orange-colored uniforms with pride. Her mother, a former nurse and member of the rescue team, slouches to ruffle their hair, “오늘은 채민 대장님이 책임지고 계세요, 알겠죠?” the young lass nodded her head as she turned to her father, who was one of the district's firefighters, and gave them a sloppy salute. With their parents chuckling at them, the two have reminded them of few other things before bidding their goodbyes.That very evening, as a reward for 채민's excellence in the recent journalism conference, their whole family attended the city's film festival—the young lass was in awe, her orbs reflecting the night lights with her limbs stretched out as though reaching for the enormous screen. The once teeny tiny glowing box has turned into something that was entertaining enough to strip her off from reality, to ignore the scrumptious meal that her family had prepared, to sit in silence. From that moment, it can be presumed that the little girl has grown an immediate liking to one of the purest forms of art.EP O2 : 불행한 비극“여보, 어디 가세요? / 당신도 모르게 돌아올게요” (My beloved, where are you headed to? / I will be back before you know it)And that promise... was only thing that he ever broke.Rather than being greeted with party hats, a table full of her grandmother's freshly harvested fruits coming all the way from their hometown, and a scene overflowing with affection—the blaring light of the ambulance nearly blinded her.It was in pure contrast with the gloomy weather, her clouded mind, and ear-splitting cries of agony of her mother who failed to rescue the very person that she holds dear.EP O3 : 낭비되는 잠재력From sunshine, pure bliss, and solace, the incident turned her life into a pit of darkness, woe, and distress. The crow of roosters that signifies a new beginning rather filled her with dread, a look into what's gone, the incessant reminder of that night. But the eldest still pushed through, tossing off her old pen and taking out a completely unused one as she dares to rewrite her own destiny to help her family, to help other families.Years passed, their mother has slowly learned to live with the deep rooted scar and has once again fulfilled her duty as a civil servant, leaving 채민 and her brother with their grandparents. From that point on, she continued to put a lot of effort into her studies until she got to college, where she was able to enroll in a scholarship program all while working as a part-time cinema employee to denote as a kind of bridge to what she actually yearns for.
